Racing in the EMRA at MALLORY PARK
Hey, I’m Lukasz Gaslawski but my mates call me Luka. Along side studying Motor-sport engineering at Warwickshire College, I put all my focus and energy into racing in the EMRA at MALLORY PARK.
I first started riding a motor-cross as a hobby which quickly turned into passion of mine, therefore I came to a decision to move onto circuit racing and competing. Right now I am competing in two different championships; formula 400 and newcomers.
The whole story with motorbikes started here in the UK, when I was 12 years old my dad brought a Yamaha and took me on a ride out. The adrenaline one gets and the technique of riding a bike fascinated me. At first I only took it as a hobby, aged 13 I brought a motocross Kawasaki on which I first started riding by myself as well as I first went onto a track. After that what I only thought was a hobby turned into passion and I started to get interested in sports bikes, attending my first road racing track day on a Suzuki 600 in the city of Lublin in Poland. In October last year (2010) after convincing my parents, we brought a Kawasaki ZXR 400 on which I signed up and started to participate in the EMRA races at Mallory Park, after two races I was 5th. Apart from racing I study Motorsport Engineering at Warwickshire College what helps me to get a better understanding and the ability to do my own essential work around the bike.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I currently compete in the EMRA Championship at Mallory Park in Leicestershire and am part of the way through my debut season.
